This week has been nuts. I am now in my missions namesake own, Tacoma. It is so much different from everywhere else I have been. There is nothing but endless roads of houses and apartment complexes, where before I've been used to long dirt driveways and forest everywhere. Me and my companion are the first elders here in over a year which means our phone's teaching records are completely blank. We are basically opening an area, which is pretty cool. We are also on bike, which is kinda fun, but our area goes down to the waterfront on one side and it gets extremely hilly, which is less fun. We are finding the roads that are less steep and figuring out the best way to go. It is a lot of trial and error. We share the area with a set of sisters as well. They have been helpful trying to give us some area advice.
Yesterday my companion had a baptism in his old area so he went back and I stayed with the Allenmore elders for the day. They were also having a baptism so we went around and were visiting a lot of their investigators trying to get them to come to it. It was a lot of fun. Besides that, it has been a lot of tracting lately trying to build up a teaching pool of sorts.
