Week 79: Busy Week

This week was craziness. This week we got to go to the temple! That was a lot of fun. Long bus ride, but super worth it. The temple was really good. It's the 4th time I've gotten to go on my mission. It's been nice. Afterwards, we had a quick zone conference, that was fun. Then this weekend I got to go back to South Hill for Josh's baptism! That was super cool. It had been awhile since I had been there and it was cool to see him and the ward again. There is a lot of really good people there. Plus President Coppin took us in his Tesla, that was pretty cool.

The next day we had a baptism here in Lacy! That was really cool too. He had been working with missionaries for a little while now, so it was cool to see it all come together.

Week 78: Snow

This week was a good one! It snowed! Well, kinda...it was maybe an inch, but still! It was pretty cool.

We also had interviews with our mission president this week which was good as always. It's always fun to talk to him and get to hear some good advice...plus there's always chocolate milk and bagels there...which is a big plus.

My companion turned 21 too, so we celebrated with a bunch of cookies.

Week 77: The Doggiest of Weeks

This week was a good week. We taught a ton of lessons this week and were able to put some people on date for baptism, which is always exciting. It's getting rainy-er every day and it's supposed to snow this week which is exciting to say the least. We also did a lot of tracting throughout all the days. I also learned how to fry chicken and we cleaned the church! Also, yesterday for our member dinner we had a corn-dog eating challenge. My companion beat the all-time record and ate 18! It was impressive but also kinda gross.

Week 76: Another Week Down

This week was a good one. We did a lot of tracting which is good as always. One of the missionaries in Yelm hurt his ankle playing volleyball, so they were stuck inside all day for a few days so I got to go down to Yelm to visit and let his companion get out of the house. It was super fun. I got to explore the area I started my mission and see people I hadn't seen in a long time. A lot of things had changed down there. It was kinda surprising but pretty cool. Some of the people I had class with are on missions and stuff now. It was cool. We also found some really cool people this week. Our teaching pool is pretty big here, and it's been keeping us pretty busy.
