This week was exciting. Olympia is a crazy place. There is a crazy amount of homeless people here. On my first night here we were trying to visit someone in an apartment complex, so we buzzed the door and while we were waiting a guy came next to us on the sidewalk and started setting up his tent! It was crazy. The downtown area is especially bad. Luckily there isn't really any doors to knock there so we don't go very often. Our apartment here is crazy too. Everyone says it is haunted haha. It was built a gazillion years ago and everything creaks. It looks like a place that would be haunted. We also have birds living in our chimney, which is fun. It's a lot easier of a place to bike around than Soundview was too, which is nice. Elder Monsen, my new companion, is good too. It is going to be a good transfer, I can feel it.
On Saturday I got to go back up to Port Angeles for Lonna's baptism. That was a long car ride, about 3 hours each way, but it was worth it. Almost every missionary that taught her was there. Elder Robb, who was in Port Angeles with me got off his mission about a week ago and was touring the mission with his family. He was driving up to Port Angeles and called the missionaries to see what they were doing. They told him they were filling up the font so he went to the church with his family and ended up getting in the water with her. It was awesome. Quite the way to end the mission.
